Restorative Yoga calms the nervous system and releases physical tension.  Using props to support the body in static poses, the Restorative practice moves us out of the hectic state that pervades our busy lives and into a slower, more mindful frame of being.

Unlike a Yin practice, Restorative poses are passive, allowing physical opening to occur naturally over several minutes.  Guided relaxation, a focus on the breath and gentle hands-on adjustments offer a profoundly nourishing experience.  Best of all, the simple mindfulness techniques explored during this class can easily be carried into your day-to-day.

This practice is ideal for anyone wishing to reduce stress and promote physical and emotional healing.

Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.  All levels of experience are welcome.
