We specialize in small individualized group class sizes that are targeted to eliminate stress.  We understand the challenges of a busy modern life, and have designed THREE  5 week beginner programs in yoga, pilates and meditation to make you strong, flexible and stress-free.  Our SAGES Formula (S.trength A.gility G.round E.xpand S.hine) to becoming stress-free starts first with the body, mind and then emotions through meditation.

We host a 2 hour complimentary open house workshop to introduce how the 5 week program will progress.  If you are unable to join a scheduled open house, please email us at [email protected] to find out about the next one.

Strength – Pilates Reformer (5 Week Beginner’s Program)

Harvard Health reports that it is not sufficient to only maintain regular physical activity to keep healthy and reduce stress, but that mindful breathing and mental exercises are necessary too.  The Pilates Reformer class is the most popular of all the Pilates equipment and rightfully so.  The carriage is supported by different levels of resistance springs (light, medium & heavy), to aid the strengthening and lengthening of the muscles.  Due to the adaptability of the machine, all of the exercises performed on the reformer are customizable to suit everyone’s fitness level.

Highlights of a Pilates Reformer Class:

Flexibility – Yoga (5 Week Beginner’s Program)

Sage Yoga is a vinyasa based style which highlights the free flowing nature of how one pose moves seamlessly into the next like a dance.  The durations of each pose can be held from 5 to 10 breaths.  In a private yoga class, the tempo and difficulty are modified according to the student, and are executed with the intention of helping to purify the mind while making the body more flexible and supple.  We emphasize approaching the practice without strain or forcing.  Sage Yoga will remove your physical tensions the more you practice it.  We keep an attentive eye on all of our students to make sure they are getting the most our of each class.

Touching is KeyIf you’re interested in developing a strong foundation for your mindful movement practice, we encourage you to sign up for our introductory package of three private sessions will help you master the basics for your practice.  Learn how to get the most out of your group classes if you plan to do so in the future.  Or if you have a specialized condition or very specific athletic or rehabilitative goals, a private class is the best way for you to get the best out of your time with us.

Every individual is unique, and we will help to sculpt your eye to take the best care of yourself when you’re in a group class setting.

Each session, you’ll learn techniques for modifying your movement, increasing body awareness and deepening your core strength.  Our private sessions help you to sculpt, stretch and tone your muscles by enhancing your physical and mental relaxation while alleviating pain.  – 60 minutes per session

Dress Comfortably.

  • Choose activewear designed for movement and comfort.  
  • Ladies, please use hair ties to keep your hair in alignment.
  • We discourage wearing jewelry as it can become quite cumbersome to control.
